¿Por qué utilizar jabones artesanales en lugar de industriales? Digamos, para empezar, que los jabones industriales serían con la comida rápida del jabón.

Los jabones industriales tienen su punto fuerte en el aroma y en la presentación, pero la mayoría contienen multitud de ingredientes derivados del petróleo y otros productos sintéticos de dudoso beneficio, que van absorbiéndose en nuestra piel con su uso continuado. Pero leer el etiquetado de estos jabones casi requiere estudiar la carrera de química, precisamente para nuestro desconocimiento.

También hemos de decir que en el proceso de fabricación de estos jabones se emplean solamente los ácidos grasos de los aceites, perdiendo todas las propiedades de los mismos, así como se elimina la glicerina líquida producto de la saponificación para otros usos, haciendo que el jabón reseque más la piel.

Por otra parte, tengamos en cuenta que la industria cosmética está organizada para favorecer el uso de más productos, de manera que después de usar el jabón que nos limpie tengamos que aplicarnos una crema hidratante, exfoliantes, cremas nutritivas…

Los jabones artesanales nos son milagrosos: simplemente son jabones naturales que hacen compatible la limpieza del jabón con la hidratación, con la nutrición, con un buen aroma (también natural), con distintas propiedades según sus ingredientes, y que además puedan ser bonitos.

Por último, queremos reivindicar el uso de la pastilla de jabón con la que, a buen seguro, gastará menos jabón que con el líquido (que en gran parte se pierde) y dejará la esponja para que la pastilla de jabón entre en contacto con tu piel y aporte todos sus beneficios.

Esa es nuestra esencia. Prueba los jabones naturales y poco a poco irás descubriendo sus ventajas.
